Life

“So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
-Psalm 90:12I wonder how long I would be walking on the face of the earth. Thirty years? Forty years? Fifty years? Or maybe, seventy years? Such a little time compared to what is ahead of me. When I was younger, I used to question God about my life after a thousand years. As a young girl, my head was full of questions that I just kept inside because nobody could answer them. Few years ago, Jesus found me. The question of my existence after a thousand years had been answered. There is such thing as eternity with Him. I won’t stay long here on Earth. This is not my home. There is eternity that I should be looking forward to.

As the Psalmist pondered, “So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom,” so do we and we need to meditate on our lives. You can number your days, the way I can. Life is fleeting! Learn wisdom that is not from the world, but of God. Death is inevitable. No one can avoid it! We must be ready when the time comes to surrender our life that is just borrowed. Whether you believe it or not, we will face it. The question is, “Are we ready?’’

Have you thought about God and the afterlife? If so, you must know your standing before God. If there is heaven or hell, where would you go? Are you good enough to enter heaven? You must find it out before it is too late!

Hebrews 9:27-28

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation”
